Update to HMI Prisons’ scrutiny visits methodology

The rapid rise in community infection rates and the discovery of more infectious strains of COVID-19 has led to new restrictions in England and Wales. In response to this, we have updated our approach to scrutiny visits and new temporary guidelines are in place. We have also updated our health and safety guidance. Find out more about these changes.
