The four criminal justice inspectorates have produced a Joint Inspection Framework (2014-16) (PDF), which sets out the way the inspectorates intend to carry out joint inspection work.

The Joint Inspection Framework has been produced in accordance with the provisions of the Act which requires the criminal justice Chief Inspectors to produce an inspection programme and a framework for inspections.
